Stitched for Every Scene:Still Thuggin’: The Growth of West & Remount

Still Thuggin’ isn’t about struggle. It’s about stamina.
It’s about building something meaningful even when it’s hard, showing up even when you’re tired, and keeping the vision alive even when the path forward gets murky.

West & Remount started with a love for culture, community, and creativity. What began as a passion for helping small businesses with branding evolved into a full-service embroidery experience — with an embroidery machine as the tool and storytelling as the mission.

A purpose-driven brand rooted in culture, creativity, and community — here’s what’s next.

If you’ve ever repped your towel at a homecoming, cooled off at the cookout with one of our bandanas, or rocked with us at a local pop-up, then you’re part of this story too. And now, it’s time to grow.

What We're Building — And Why

We’ve had a strong first half of the year, especially on Etsy, but we’ve also seen firsthand that we’re outgrowing some of our current systems. The demand is growing — and so is our ambition. In order to level up and serve more customers with even more creativity, here are the three key steps we’re working toward:

🚐 1. A Mobile Embroidery Vehicle

We’re dreaming of something spacious, sustainable, and stylish enough to turn heads and start conversations. A mobile unit will allow us to take the West & Remount experience directly to events — tailgates, festivals, campuses, and cookouts — and stitch custom pieces right on the spot.

🧵 2. A Second Machine

Our current embroidery machine is running full speed, but it can only do so much at once. A second machine means faster turnaround, increased capacity for larger orders, and the ability to serve more people with less wait time.

🔧 3. Embroidery Machine Tech Certification

When a machine goes down, the business slows down. Earning a technician certification will help us avoid delays, keep things running in-house, and even support other small shops who need help with repairs. It’s a smart, sustainable way to expand what West & Remount can offer.

Introducing the Still Thuggin’ Tee

As part of this next chapter, we’ll be launching the Still Thuggin’ Tee — a limited-edition fundraising initiative designed to support this growth. It’ll be cute, funny, and personal — with a sassy design on the front and space on the back for your name or custom touch.

This soft launch is for those who believe in what we’re doing and want to help us push forward — not with donations, but with style and support.

How You Can Support the Movement

  • Shop the site. Every towel, tote, or tee keeps the vision moving forward.

  • Add a tip at checkout. It goes DIRECTLY to fund these next big steps - when I figure out how to get a goal thermometer on here I will.

  • Grab a Still Thuggin’ tee. It’s merch with a mission. It's also a great way for small business owners to also rep their own brand through personalization on the back.

  • Share this post with someone who loves custom gear and Black-owned, woman-owned, locally-owned small brands.

  • Follow us on Instagram and TikTok to see what’s next.

This Is What Growth Looks Like.

West & Remount is about expression, showing up, and creating space for cultural pride to shine through in everyday moments — from BBQs to boardrooms, from tailgates to trade shows.

We’re still here.
Still thuggin’.
Still stitching what matters.
