In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re beginning this collection by centering the words of Angela Davis — not just because she is iconic, but because her words still land with urgency.
“As a Black woman, my politics and political affiliation are bound up with and flow from participation in my people's struggle for liberation, and with the fight of oppressed people all over the world against American imperialism.”

Why We Chose Embroidery
In a world where outrage trends for 48 hours and disappears, embroidery is slow.
It is deliberate.
It is permanent.
It resists erasure.
Printing this quote on pillowcases, tote bags, and sweaters wasn’t about decoration. It was about documentation.
Social media posts vanish.
News cycles rotate.
But thread holds.

Women’s History Month Is About More Than Celebration
