Founded on September 19, 1963, at Morgan State University, Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. emerged during one of the most transformative periods in American history. Decades later, the fraternity would officially become the ninth member of the National Pan-Hellenic Council in 1997, completing what is now known as the Divine Nine.
